Here's how it works in general: after the battery has been fully charged and left idle for about a week(7 days), it will automatically settle to around 60%, which is the recommended level for long-term storage. After that, the battery won't keep draining aggressively — only a small amount of natural self-consumption is normal.
In rare cases where the battery has been left at a very low charge for too long, it may enter Sleep Mode as a protective measure. If this happens, simply place the battery on the charger for a few minutes,q and it will wake up on its own.
