two major issues- hover only and no firmware update

I just received it today. Wifi worked and sw worked. The drone was able to take off and hover but i could not get it to move other than that. I was able to get it to land and that is all.

Also i am trying to do a firmware update and it sits at 0%. i tried on both mac and windows. no luck.

 

any suggestions?

  Same here the drone moves at a snail's pace. Firmware is stuck at 0% download

  Drone flies for me. 

  FYI. 

  Shipped with Hover2 Firmware version: 1.0.215

  Windows FlyKit v1.0.14 (2019.12.16)
  "Checking for update - Update for version 1.0.14 is not available (latest version: 1.0.14, downgrade is disallowed)."

  Hover2 Firmware Update stalls at "Downloading...0%"

  Drone flies too. I used the cell phone apps to fly but the left right controls are  reversed. The forward and backward are reversed too,

  I cannot upgrade the firmware after went thru the whole process stated on the Flyfit and it tooks me more than an hour.

  Then I unplug the battery.
